As a regular use laundry booster to help clean white clothing that’s safe for the planet, this is your kind of product.
Removes a lot of light staining with consistent results.

Safe with colors for the most part. It did leave a pinkish hue on my heather-grey sweater. Has not affected any other clothes’ color.

If you’re hoping that this will remove ink/pen stains than this will fall short, it didn’t even lighten the ink stain even when left in an overnight soak.

Works better than Ecos detergent, October 23, 2012

I’ve been using Ecos detergent from Costco and Sam’s Club for about a year which has been a disappointment compared to Tide. This is a much better product and gets my clothes cleaner. I’m well pleased with the detergent version of these and they smell great. The Bleach Alternative packets did arrive broken (4 out of 24 in two bags) like the reviewers stated but I simply added some of the powder to a load of whites and it worked okay. The detergents weren’t broken so I think the bleach alternative packets are more delicate and hopefully will be packaged differently in the future. I would recommend these to a friend who was trying to break their addiction to petroleum based products but wanted to see results when the clothes come out of the dryer.

Pricey but worth it, February 7, 2013

Bought it to replace bleach in my laundry routine. Pleased with product, only thing is lacks instructions. I’ve been experiment with the kinds of fabrics I can use it with, oh and the first time I used it I put it on the bleach compartment of my HE machine and well, took three loads to get rid of it. So the few instructions it has, you should read them, lol. It has no smell to it, but I think smell is just one more thing we need to change our mind set when it comes to clean. Good smell doesn’t mean clean.just like no smell doesn’t mean dirty.
